	Description
		Ipod End Cap set up. Insert shelves, attached security cabinet, attach backsplash and sign, merchandise product. $45 per location. 1 1/2 to 2 hrs per store. Product Dates Sept 15-26, 2008.

		Kmart DPI/IPOD accessories Endcap project Overview • This project will require setting an Endcap in the Electronics department in Kmart Stores. The estimated start date will be September 15, 2008. Estimated time in store is 1 1/2 to 2 hours. More detailed instructions will be provided prior to visit • The endcap you are setting will consist of installing a security cabinet on one shelf, placing another small shelf above it. Placing four pieces of dummy product (two on top of the security cabinet and two on the small shelf we placed) these will be secured by attaching two sided tape to them. You will also be installing a back splash and a header sign. You will also be responsible for merchandising the endcap with product. • Prior to the start of the project each store will be shipped a display kit, which will probably be two separate boxes shipped together and labeled attn. Electronics Department hold for PHG Retail Services. Each kit will have the security cabinet, the small shelf, back splash, dummy product and nuts and bolts for securing the security cabinet and Christmas tree clips to attach the header sign and back splash (you may be required to provide the double sided tape and screws/bolts – if so we will give you exact specification of what is needed). • You will need to precall each store speak with the Manager of the Department to let them know what we are coming in to do and then we will need to ask to speak with the electronics lead to let them know when we plan on setting the end cap and what we will require from them. You will ask them to have one end cap empty and ready for us and ask them if they have received the endcap display kit and to have it ready along with the product that goes on the end cap as well as peg hooks so you can set the endcap. ( You will have a letter of authorization from Kmart and they will have notified the stores ahead of time as well). • When you arrive at the store you will check in go to the electronics department, have them show you the endcap and where the kit is and you will the install the security cabinet, shelves, dummy product, back splash, sign header and then merchandise the product.
